What is quid pro quo sexual harassment
Quid pro quo sexual harassment happens when a supervisor or someone with authority demands sexual favors from a subordinate in exchange for employment benefits such as promotion or hiring or not firing.
The demand for sexual favors can be explicit, e.g. "If you go to bed with me, I will make sure you get the job", or it can be implicit such as unwanted physical conduct such as touching, grabbing or fondling.
